The Alexander Hotto brand was born in 2003 in the Melchiorri family business, founded in 1955.

The founder, Alessandro Melchiorri, has always been passionate about footwear and dedicated to shoemaking craftsmanship. He succeeded in realising his dream by learning the art of shoemaking and sharing this passion with his two sons, who now run the company.

In spite of the progress and innovation added in the development of the company, even today shoe production does not break away from tradition and maintains its craftsmanship.
