After meeting at Parsons University, designers Beckett Fogg and Piotrek Pansczczyk combine their backgrounds to found Area in downtown New York City. Exuberant, witty and inherently glamorous, it shares its name and spirit with the famous Manhattan nightclub of the 1980s. With its quality craftsmanship, textile techniques, and innovative embellishments, the brand soon gathered a cult following. Today exploring the concepts of femininity and beauty Area spreads its philosophy of inclusivity and irreverent glamour in clothes and accessories.
