YProject was founded in 2011 by Gilles Elalouf and Yohan Serfaty. Following the appointment of Gilenn Martens as creative director, the brand began to combine conceptual and creative details with playful proportions and a witty interpretation of historical references. His creations reinvent classic lines and reinterpret masculinity and femininity that are combined with unisex looks that transcend versatility.
