Founded in Madrid, LOEWE won public acclaim when it became the official supplier to the Spanish monarchy in 1905. The public, who could not resist the allure of wearing royal clothing, immediately fell in love with the brand's mastery of leather, which was also exploited in ready-to-wear. Current creative director Jonathan Anderson has brought modernity back to the brand, reinterpreting it in a contemporary and playful way.
