Longchamp is a French luxury leather goods company founded in Paris in 1948 by Jean Cassegrain. In 1971 it launched its first bag and became a leading French manufacturer. Its nylon folding bag became an icon dominating the leather goods market to this day. Longchamp has always identified itself as an international brand that remains true to its French identity.
